The rings left on a windowsill. The lace your mother pinned at six in the morning. The note he wrote and could not read out loud. We photograph the small things as carefully as the vows, because those are the pieces you will want to hold in your hands twenty years from now.

How the day works

We arrive while you are still getting ready and stay through the last song. Pedro and Mariana photograph every wedding together — one of us is with the bride, the other with the groom, so nothing on either side of the morning is missed. We work quietly. Most of the day you will forget we are there, which is exactly the point: documentary wedding photojournalism is only honest when nobody is performing for the camera.

Then, for twenty or thirty minutes, we do the opposite. We take you away from the party and make the glamorous, editorial portraits of the two of you that the rest of the day does not allow — light, posture, a wall, a skyline, whatever the venue gives us. Those frames are the ones that end up above the fireplace.

Destination weddings

We travel. A good share of our work happens away from the Rio Grande Valley — city rooftops, cathedrals, resorts, family homes in another country. Travel is quoted with the collection, not added as a surprise, and we always arrive a day early to scout light at the venue.

Dates and pricing

Collections are built around how long you need us and what you want in print. Send your date and venue and we will send the current collections back the same week — spring and fall dates in the Valley usually go a year out.
